Dr. Jonathan Gary took audience members on a tour of the past with the pipe organ in the Performing Arts Center on campus Friday, April 23. The Department Chairperson & Director of the UMHB Conservatory of Music played several pieces that showed a difference in style or organ playing that evolved over time. Some of the pieces of music he performed were from past composers like Louis Marchand (1669-17-32), Domenico Zipoli (1688-1726), and John Stanley (1712-1786), among others.
